I think it is a fitting final post for 2008.
"This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done".

Looking forward to "visiting" you all over and over again in 2009. Stay safe everybody as this somebody really cares and hopes nobody misses out on the happiest and healthiest year ever. I hope I haven't missed anybody!

With the time difference, you're my first final post to read in 2008! I have definitely enjoyed getting to know you this year. Your posts are always so insightful; they make me think! And the music... you definitely have a knack for linking just the right songs to your blog.

...and I agree, communication sure can be complicated. Sometimes it's how two (or more) people interpret differently what has been said. Here's to 2009 being a time for improved communcations (and a bunch of fun, as well!)!
I love it! I remember hearing that when I was quite young and finally understanding it years later.
Sadly I didn't buy any of those sunglasses. I'm too practical and cheap and couldn't justify the $9 price tag. I might talk myself into it on the way out of town though!
