New Header Picture

I was trying to decide what header photo to use and how to make it fit on the page.
So after much fiddling around I got the photo to fit the layout by changing my template, which I think is easier to read than the original one I had.
I have decided I am going to change my header photo regularly to highlight some of my favourite photos.

I took this photo at Sculpture by the Sea in Bondi, Sydney in November 2007.
The artist Dan Steward-Moore called it 'The mollusc that ate the harbour bridge' and the statement he said about it was 'For me, Sydney's connection to the sea is what makes it so special. But is it also Sydney's nemesis.'

Your photograph looks like a postcard! The angle/composition is interesting, and the rich color of the ocean is beautiful. I also visited your scrapblog and enjoyed looking at the other photos you took.

I'll enjoy seeing more of your photos here. Have you thought about adding a slide show to the page?

It's funny you mentioned Octamom and little_m when you responded to my post about perfection. Aren't they amazing?! As are so many others... including you and ... the list goes on!

Hi Peg, I'm glad you found my blog. It's far less interesting than yours - but it has been a good vehicle for me to tell the story to friends without having to retell so many times. Thank you for taking time to read from the beginning. This has been a hard and unwelcome lesson for me in dishonesty. I've always been a rather naive soul, I suppose, and expect the best from others. In this experience, we've gotten the worst from folks who are supposedly "good people". Anyway, too much rambling! I'm glad to find your blog, and I'll enjoy checking in now and again.

This is so beautiful--I was just delighted when I clicked on your blog this evening--even more delighted when I saw that you had posted about the origin of the picture. This is just an incredible piece--so beautiful!
Blessings!

I like the new header. There are so many interesting places to see in Sydney. I can't wait to see what else you share.

Watching the rain right now, have to go out in it...blah.
