One Little Word - 2020

Since 2009 I have been choosing a single word to focus on over the course of the next 12 months.

Ali Edwards initiated this movement called "One Little Word".

It's a powerful way to set an intention for the year ahead.

This year my word will be "HEART".

Thanks dear friends Debra and Christine for being such loyal blog friends..........wouldn't it be great if we met one day!

The bushfires or as you call them wildfires are relentless and the destruction and devastation all around Australia not only to the forests/bush/homes but to the millions of wildlife saddens us all deeply.

Takes care you Canadian lovelies and thanks heaps for sending your firefighter to help in our hour of need.

Big hugs

I can definitely get on board with HEART! Sending blessing your way for a year of light, love and peace.

Thanks very much dear Tammy for your blessings.
The more people that send light, love and peace into the atmosphere can make a profound impact in ways we can't even imagine.

We are all interconnected and taking the time to focus our attention towards pure loving thoughts is simple but powerful.

Namaste

My word for this year and every year since 1968 is Hearts (for obvious reasons!) Hope you are well, Peggy - watching the news from Down Under is heartbreaking. Stay safe, my friend.

When I chose this word Mike I thought of you and your beloved Heart of Midlothian (Hearts)football team.
So both of us focusing on Hearts will surely help lift them from the bottom of the ladder!

Take care dear friend.

Heart brings to my mind a few ideas. Of course the emotions of love and empathy but also how it's beating is essential to life. All those destructive fires resulting in such losses shows how big the community's heart is. Wishing an end to the smoke and fire for your country.

Yes Bill English words often can have several meanings.
As well as the two you have mentioned Heart can also be the central or innermost part of something.

Australia's community certainly does have a big heart and we will certainly need it to get through this catastrophe.

Many countries including the USA are sending their firefighters to assist with the bush fires and fundraising as well. Australia is so fortunate to have wonderful allies.

Hey Marja
