A Pleasant Surprise
Much to my surprise (and I mean it) I received this award last week from a wonderful, thoughtful, humorous, talented (I could go on and on and on) blogger AVT Coach. I told her what a happy blogger I was before she so kindly bestowed upon me the scribbler award, and how my head won't fit through the door now!!! Seriously though, I feel very honoured to have received this award....thanks Coach!
Here are the rules of the game.
1. Each Superior Scribbler must in turn pass The Award on to 5 most-deserving Bloggy Friends.
2. Each Superior Scribbler must link to the author & the name of the blog from whom he/she has received The Award.
3. Each Superior Scribbler must display The Award on his/her blog, and link to This Post, which explains The Award.
4. Each Blogger who wins The Superior Scribbler Award must visit This Post and add his/her name to the Mr. Linky List. That way, we'll be able to keep up-to-date on everyone who receives This Prestigious Honor!
5. Each Superior Scribbler must post these rules on his/her blog.
Now as you may or may not know, my philosophy is 'rules are made to be broken', so I am handing out the Superior Scribbler Award to THREE very deserving bloggers. If you enjoy poetry and photography, do yourself a favour and visit these very talented bloggers, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!
1. Jen - JenX67 - One of my favourites I called 'poetry in motion' is 'Fall Foliage in Oklahoma City'
2. Ron - Troubled Ramblings. This poem especially touched my heart - 'Couldn't Sleep'
3. Roban - Moments in Time
Last but certainly not least is a very beautiful poem called 'Life'....so meaningful.
Another photo taken at Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi 2007, reminds me of how we reach out to each other and support one another unconditionally.

Peggy, your pictures are so awesome. I always enjoy coming to your blog and seeing your smiling face. Perhaps one day I'll see it in person!! Your comment on my latest post. You're right- I see my sanity having a chance to return! Having that kitchen done is huge! Thanks for your continual encouragement and support.
Congrats on your award!
Congrats on your award and thanks for the compliment to my blog. As you, I am honored to be even considered for an award, much less to recieve it.
I could say I am speechless, but that is obviously not the case. However, I am truly honored.
It may take me a bit to pass the award on, but I am sure the blogsphere will be gracious as always.
There are so many derserving reads. As I peruse my regular reads, I see that mnay of them already have the award. I will dig deep, search the nooks and crannies, and find the next group of honoree's.
That is so incredibly nice of you!!!!! I feel so touched that you would think of me like this. I do enjoy your blog so much. SOmetimes, I think I like commenting on other peeps' blogs more than I enjoy writing on my own! Do you ever feel that way?!?! I feel so self-conscious announcing awards on my blog. I know I should, and pass them along. You certainly handle it so graciously.
Thank you so much!! I'm thrilled that you think highly enough of my writing to bestow upon me the award! I will settle in with my computer this weekend and tour around looking for worthy recipients who haven't been so honored (at least lately!).
And you were so sweet to take the "pressure off" regarding the time. You definitely were in my head today as I rushed from here to there... even leaving work at 4 to rush across town to the hairdresser, only to find him NOT THERE!! With tomorrow being spent at a grant-writing workshop, I had to either go back to the school to finish preparing for a sub - or go in EARLY tomorrow. So I did it tonight. Grrrr.
Surfing for worthy blog-o-writers will be f.u.n!
Thanks again.... You turned my frown upside down :-) Sorry for the looong post!
Roban
P.S. Oddly enough, the little word verification-thingy that you have to type in to post a comment says "coping." Hmm.
I just came back to listen to Suzanne Vega. We do have very similar taste in music!
Those sculptures are amazing!
