Pay It Forward Day

Thursday April 25, 2013 - Pay It Forward Day

Please join me on Thursday and let's create a ripple effect that will last all year.....until 2014 when we can do it all Ground Hog Day!

Pay it Forward Day has now spread to more than 50 countries around the world. It's mission is simple - together we can change the world - one good deed at a time.

One good deed might not seem like much, but if everyone did something good for someone else then the cycle of generosity and kindness can spark us to become better people.

Operating on the premise that we all have it in our power to help another, one individual truly can change the world.

A day of great is that! And kindness is contagious!

"They say don’t believe your own hype, but if you don’t why would anyone else? To be great you have to believe you can do great things."

Oh peggy I love paying it forwards. Again by coincidence I was just thinking today about paying it forwards. There was one person in my live who gave me a lot and I thought about telling him that I never paid him back but I did pay it forwards. I think it is a fantastic concept and it certainly is sending a ripple through the world.
I am in and will post about it. I thought there must be a website about it and I found it:
Great stuff You are fantastic
Ahoranui (lots of love) and a big hug :) marja

The Diana Ross song fits this idea very well. Great idea. Even giving out more smiles helps.
BTW - great looking house/building in your banner. Where is that?

Peggy I mentioned this post today. Hope it spread the idea a little.

Dear Peggy, Lisleman sent me over. Tomorrow is also World Malaria Day. I live in a country where people die from malaria and dengue fever. One way to pay it forward to fund mosquito nets in Africa, Asia and Latin America. It could save a life.

Bill - The house wall in my header/banner photo was taken in Surry Hills in Sydney. I was out walking with friends in February and spotted this amazing mural!

Also thanks for sharing my post, with more people involved it will create a wonderful giving day around the globe.

Laurie - Thanks for popping over and leaving a comment.
World Malaria Day - such an important day, I will put a post on Twitter and Facebook on Thursday.

It is also ANZAC day in Australia
which is probably Australia's most important national occasion. It marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War.

I'm leaving this with two somewhat inactive Aussie blogs (Lilly and Peggy), hoping for a response.
Survey/study finds Aussies the happiest of the developed world for the third year running.
Should I move?
